Tooling refers to the very time consuming process of creating molds for each part of a figure. Each mold is manufactured from solid steel and from these the final figures are made.

This is an example of just one of the massive steel molds needed to manufacture the parts for a single ULTIMATES! figure. Molten plastic is injected into the cavity of these molds over and over to create the individual parts for every figure. Each ULTIMATES! figure is then assembled and painted at the factory before being shipped to the Super7 warehouse.
